Mazraoui, Mount, Mainoo - Manchester United latest injury news and return dates vs Ipswich Town

Man Utd team news and injury latest as they host Ipswich Town in the Premier League in midweek.

Manchester United could be without 10 players when they host Ipswich Town in the Premier League in midweek. Ruben Amorim's side were without nine senior stars for their weekend draw with Everton and were handed a fresh injury scare when Noussair Mazraoui limped out of action at Goodison Park.

The Moroccan took a knock to his knee in the opening exchanges of the weekend draw with Everton, but was able to carry on after he received treatment on the pitch. Mazraoui continued until the 70th minute of the match before he complained of discomfort in his right knee and asked to be substituted. Amorim initially planned to replace Matthijs de Ligt with Leny Yoro but was forced to change his plans and take the former Bayern Munich star off instead.

Here is all the latest United injury news and the expected return dates ahead of the clash to face Ipswich:

Manchester United latest injury news

Noussair Mazraoui - 26 February vs Ipswich (H)

Mazraoui limped out of the weekend draw with Everton and was considered a doubt to face Ipswich in midweek. He should be back in the squad but could be on the bench.

Toby Collyer - 2 March vs Fulham (H)

Collyer is close to a return from injury and there is a hope he could be available for selection at some stage this week. United host Ipswich on Wednesday night and Fulham on Sunday.

Mason Mount - 16 March vs Leicester (A)

United are confident Mount will return to action before the end of the season and he should be available for selection again next month. He is closer to a return than Luke Shaw.

Luke Shaw - 1 April vs Nottingham Forest (A)

Shaw suffered another setback upon his recent return to injury and will not be rushed back to action. Amorim does not have a specific date in mind for his return but it could be next month.

Kobbie Mainoo - 1 April vs Nottingham Forest (A)

Mainoo will miss around five more weeks of action after he suffered a training injury earlier in the week. He is expected to be sidelined until after the March international break, but could return slightly earlier if United reach the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Altay Bayindir - Unknown

United do not have a specific date in mind for Bayindir's return to action but Amorim has confirmed he is making a recovery from his recent setback.

Tom Heaton - Unknown

Heaton is currently sidelined with an unspecified injury but Amorim also confirmed he is making a recovery. It would not be a surprise if he retired this summer.

Jonny Evans - Unknown

There have not been any specific updates on Evans for a while. It is not known how long he will be out for, or what role he will have even when he is available again.

Amad Diallo - End of the season

Amad suffered ankle ligament damage in training earlier this month and Amorim expects the forward to miss the remainder of the season.

Lisandro Martinez - End of the season at the earliest

Martinez has been ruled out for the remainder of the season but the true timescale of his setback is unknown. He could be out anywhere from six months to an entire year.
