Ayden Heaven - 27 April vs Bournemouth (A)

The youngster has been sidelined since the away win at Leicester City last month. He joined the Red Devils in January from rivals Arsenal. His manager said: “It is not so serious. He is recovering. He is not yet ready to play, but he will return this season, for sure.”

Jonny Evans - Unknown

It has been a frustrating campaign for the veteran defender. He hasn’t been since the Boxing Day match against Wolves. It remains to be seen whether he will still be with the club next term.

Lisandro Martinez - Unknown

An exact return date is yet to be known for the defender. He is out of action with a long-term ACL injury. His boss said: “Licha is a difficult situation. He's going to be out for a while. We don't know the extent of the injury, but it's an injury that is going to take time.”

He is closing in on his return for United which would be a big boost. The former Sunderland loan man has been missed over recent times. In this latest update, he is back training on the grass and could return by the end of the month.

Toby Collyer - 20 April vs Wolves (H)

The Red Devils will assess the midfielder over the coming days. Lyon might come too soon for the youngster but the fixture against Wolves is one where he may be involved. Amorim said: “Toby has a small issue in his leg, so we hope to have him in a few weeks.”

Joshua Zirkzee - 27 April vs Bournemouth (A)

The attacker has emerged as a fresh injury doubt. He went off against Newcastle and the true extent of his injury is yet to be known at this stage. His head coach said after the defeat against the Toon Army: “Josh, I think he will be out for some games. So, let’s focus on the next one.”

United could do with getting some of these players back to help hit form again. They have a big summer ahead as they look to bolster their ranks. Amorim will be eager to put his own stamp on the squad with more additions.
