United now sit six points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fourth, and with only seven games remaining, their Champions League chances are looking bleak.

United are said to be pursuing the signature of Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Red Devils and West Ham United are interested in the Belgian, with Liverpool not involved in the race, despite reports elsewhere.

That could make things easier for United, with Tielemans out of contract in 2023 and yet to put pen-to-paper on new terms.

Jesse Lingard remains on course to leave Old Trafford at the end of this season when his contract expires.

It’s likely the midfielder will move on as he looks to land first-team football, and according to The Mirror, West Ham and Newcastle United have already made offers to his agent.

It’s also claimed Roma are interested in a move, and in the case of the Italian club, Lingard is already able to begin pre-contract negotiations.

Milinkovic-Savic latest

United continue to be linked with a move for Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic ahead of this summer.

According to La Repubblica, via LazioNews24, the midfielder is likely to be sold at the end of the campaign, and it’s claimed the Red Devils and Paris Saint-Germain are preparing ‘supper offers’.

It’s claimed both clubs are readying offers worth around €70 million (£58.4million) ahead of this summer.
