Manchester United are in the midst of a disappointing campaign, with a Champions League spot the best they can hope to achieve this season.

The Red Devils have bowed out of all cup competitions this term, and their sole focus is now on landing a top four spot in the Premier League.

That, in itself, could prove difficult, with Arsenal now four points ahead and with a game in hand still to play.

But for now, United can afford to do some planning for next season, with the international break taking hold this week.

And with that in mind, we have taken a look at all the latest transfer rumours.

Harry Maguire rumours

Could United part ways with centre-back Harry Maguire amid his poor form? Maguire has struggled this season, with the Red Devils continuing to battle defensive issues which they hoped to fix through the summer signing of Raphael Varane.

According to Fichajes, United could now be willing to sell Maguire having bought him for £80million in 2019, as they look to revamp their squad.

Akanji deal ‘agreed’

Fichajes are also reporting that United have wrapped up a deal for Borussia Dortmund star Manuel Akanji.

It’s claimed the Red Devils have already ‘tied up’ a deal for the centre-back, who could be available for a good price ahead of his contract expiring in 2023.

United have been heavily linked with Akanji over recent weeks, and if he was to be a Maguire replacement, he could save the club some serious money, valued at around £25million.

Henderson interest

Another current United star being linked with a move away is goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who has slipped down the pecking order this season.

Henderson shared game time with David De Gea last season, but amid the Spaniard’s return to form, he has seen little action.

Reports are suggesting the England international will now move on this summer, and the Daily Mirror are saying Tottenham are interested.
