The proposed transfer for Adrien Rabiot is also believed to have stalled in a week that has seen United’s transfer rumours reach another level.

Are fan protests planned for Man Utd vs Liverpool?
Supporters group The 1958 said they are planning to once again protest against the Glazers’ ownership of the club ahead of the game.
“Today we release our plans for the Liverpool game,” they said. “A game that will have the eyes of the world watching. A game for United fans to come together and show the world our deep discontent for this vile ownership. An ownership that is systematically starving and killing the greatest football institution in world football, for greed.”
Meanwhile, the Manchester United Supporters’ Trust published a statement earlier in the week claiming that a ‘fish rots from its head’, in regards to the Glazers.

On the other hand, Darwin Nunez is suspended after picking up a red card on Monday which will keep him out for three games.
