Man Utd v Brentford: TV channel, live stream, where to watch plus team & injury news for United

Manchester United end the latest round of Premier League fixtures when they host Brentford on Monday in a 8pm kick-off.
The clash with the Bees is, peculiarly, the Red Devils’ final home game of what has been a turbulent season for the supporters, who have witnessed repeated abject performances.

Although, the latter is unlikely to receive a warm reception from the crowd, especially given he’s injured and will miss the game.

United do have two more remaining fixtures this season, against Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace, but they are both away from home.
Last time out, Ralf Rangnick’s side drew 1-1 with Chelsea in a game played against a backdrop of fan protests against the Glazers. Cristiano Ronaldo’s second-half strike earned the Red Devils a point in another disappointing display.

They did, however, manage to win the last time the two clubs met in the league, when United won 3-1 at the Brentford Community Stadium in January.

But the Bees are a different proposition now with Christian Eriksen pulling the strings from midfield and have won five of their last seven, losing just once.
It will also be the first time United have hosted Brentford in the Premier League, while the last top-flight meeting at the ground between the two clubs came in 1946.

Rangnick confirmed in Friday’s press conference that Jadon Sancho could be out for the season due to an extreme case of tonsillitis, while Luke Shaw and Pogba remain out through injury.
But the German, who it was this week confirmed will take up the Austria manager’s job this summer, said he is hopeful of having five first-team players back in time for the game.

“I hope Fred will make it for the Brentford game, tonight [Thursday] was too early for him,” said Rangnick.
“Edinson Cavani is supposed to come back to training tomorrow, but then again, the question is, he has been missing for the last four or five weeks, is he really a player who could play against Brentford. Probably not, but at least from the bench [he could be involved].

As for the visitors, Thomas Frank confirmed Christian Norgaard and Kristoffer Ajer should be back for Monday’s fixture, but Ethan Pinnock, Sergi Canos, Frank Onyeka and Saman Ghoddos won’t have returned.
Is the match on TV?
