Manchester United will already be cracking on with their summer plans after their ill-fated FA Cup final.

The Red Devils could not overcome a Manchester City side who are just one win away from completing the treble, and Erik ten Hag knows he has work to do before his side can truly compete with Pep Guardiola’s side. Much of that work will take place this summer, with United likely to invest significantly in their squad.

With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news surrounding Old Trafford.

Costa links

United continue to be linked with a move for FC Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa ahead of the summer window.

According to O Jogo, United are ready to move forward with a bid for the forward amid uncertainty over David De Gea’s future at the club. It’s claimed Porto want to bring in income ahead of the end of the summer and that the Red Devils could be a bidder. It will be interesting to see whether Ten Hag still moves to bring in fresh competition even if De Gea stays.

Though, it would be a surprise to see United spend more than £50million on a goalkeeper while also keeping De Gea around.

Min-Jae latest

United may well be the preferred option for Napoli defender Kim min-Jae this summer.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the centre-back has already returned home to South Korea and he is ready to complete his move to Old Trafford. It’s claimed the defender has a release clause worth £51.5million that will come into force in July, and United could move to activate that clause.

There will likely be a hold-up, though, with the powerful centre-back needing to complete mandatory military training this summer in South Korea, lasting three weeks. Min-Jae could replace Harry Maguire this summer, with the England international being heavily linked with an exit.
