United are reportedly eyeing a swoop for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moses Caicedo as they look to bolster their options in the middle of the park. According to a report by The Telegraph, the Red Devils will ‘plot’ a move to land him but will face competition from rivals Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Caicedo, who is 21-years-old, joined the Seagulls back in 2021 from Independiente del Valle in his native Ecuador and was immediately loaned out to K Beerschot VA in Belgium to get some experience under his belt. Since returning to the AMEX Stadium, he has become a key player and they will face a real battle to keep hold of him in the future amid interest from other teams.

Goalkeeper update

Nottingham Forest are ‘in talks’ over a permanent deal to sign United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, according to 90min. The 26-year-old spent the past campaign on loan with Steve Cooper’s side and made 20 appearances for them in all competitions as they avoided an immediate relegation back to the Championship.

The Cumbrian stopper has been on the books at Old Trafford since joining as a youngster in 2011 from local side Carlisle United and has since played 29 times for their first-team. He has also been loaned out to Stockport County, Grimsby Town, Shrewsbury Town and Sheffield United in the past to help boost his development.
