United winger Jadon Sancho is ‘open’ to leaving in the January transfer window, according to a report by the Manchester Evening News. The England international, who is 23-years-old, has been with his current club since the summer of 2021 after he joined from Borussia Dortmund.

He has since made 82 appearances in all competitions and has found the net on 12 occasions. The forward had previously fired 50 goals in 137 outings for Dortmund before heading back to England but his future is up in the air at the moment.

Target update

United have been linked with a winter swoop for Athletic Bilbao attacker Nico Williams as they look to further bolster their attacking options. However, in this latest update, Spanish news outlet Sport claim fellow English side Newcastle United have joined the race for his signature along with La Liga giants Barcelona with it looking like there will be a battle for his signature between a few different clubs.

Williams moved to San Mamés Stadium back in 2021 and has since become a key player, scoring 12 goals in 86 matches altogether, having previously been at CD Pamplona, Osasuna and Basconia in his early days. At the age of 21, he has a bright future ahead of him in the game and could be in line for a big move down the line.
