Man Utd star 'proceeds with exit talks' at UCL club as Celtic blow confirmed after Arsenal snub

Manchester United left-back Tyrell Malacia is finalising his loan move to his PSV Eindhoven and has arrived in the Netherlands to conclude talks with the Eredivisie club.
Malacia was poised to join Benfica over the weekend but that move collapsed after the defender had already said goodbye to his team-mates at Carrington. On Monday, PSV emerged as contenders to sign the player and have made a late move for the left-back.

Celtic lose out on Malacia
Scottish Premiership champions Celtic had put Malacia on their list of targets as they prepared for the possibility of missing out on Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney. Celtic have agreed a deal to sign Tierney in the summer but manager Brendan Rodgers said last week the club were trying to bring him back to Glasgow six months ahead of schedule. Arsenal have refused to sanction the move as they chase the Premier League title.
Celtic’s interest in Malacia was reported by the Daily Mail last week while Real Betis were another club who eyed a move for the defender. With the Glasgow club unable to land Malacia, they have instead turned to versatile Crystal Palace Jeffrey Schlupp. The player is out of contract with the Eagles and may have played his final game for the Selhurst Park outfit.
Dorgu arrival leads to Malacia departure
Malacia has been deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford following the arrival of Patrick Dorgu from Serie A side Lecce. Asked about the defender’s future, Ruben Amorim said last week: "We will see. What I know is that it's really hard on Malacia. It is a long time without playing, and then it's hard to play a lot of games.

He can play as one of the three defenders, if we have more possession and more control of the games. It's a really difficult context for him. But he's our player and we are going to help him."
Speaking to the United club website on Monday, Dorgu said of his goals for the rest of the season: “We're still in a lot of cup competitions so, of course, to win the cup games. And, of course, to win as many Premier League games as possible. My ambition is just to play a lot of games to be a great part of the United family and just to keep pushing and improve my potential."
