Manchester United are back in action on Wednesday evening when they face Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

The Red Devils are in sizzling form, continuing their winning ways with a comeback win over rivals Manchester City over the weekend. Erik ten Hag’s men have been faultless since returning from the World Cup break, and they are intent on chasing down leaders Arsenal. Interestingly, this will be United’s last clash before they get to face the runaway leaders, taking on Arsenal this Sunday.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Old Trafford.

Maguire offer rejected

United are said to have rejected a loan proposal from West Ham United for defender Harry Maguire.

Maguire has been out of favour with Ten Hag this season, with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez preferred, while Luke Shaw has even played in a central role ahead of his England teammate. Amid a disappointing season so far, West Ham thought they saw an opportunity to snap up Maguire on loan until the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail.

But United have rejected the Hammers’ advances, determined that Maguire still has a key role to play this season.

Tielemans interest

United are said to be interested in a deal for Leicester City star Youri Tielemans this month.

The Belgian midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season, and it seems the Red Devils believe there could be a deal to be done on the relative cheap. Journalist Thomas Alencar wrote on Twitter: “United is interested in Tielemans. No proposal yet. The interest comes from the team of scouts and the sporting director of the club. The Belgian is one of the possibilities in January after Van de Beek’s injury.”

Arsenal have also been linked with Tielemans, but it’s looking increasingly unlikely they will make a move this month.
