Aaron Wan-Bissaka has won over Ten Hag of late, and it seems the Red Devils could now sign another back-up full-back rather than a starter. According to Tuttomercatoweb, United are in advanced talks to sign Fulham’s Kevin Mbabu, likely to beat Italian side Monza to the punch.

Mbabu has only been with Fulham since last year, but he has just made six league appearances following his move from Wolfsburg. It’s claimed United are now closing in on the Swiss international, continuing to shop on the cheap during this window.

Garnacho contract

Elsewhere, United are said to be close to signing Alejandro Garnacho up to a new deal.

The youngster has made quite the impact this season, and he continued his good form with an inspiring cameo against City over the weekend. It has been claimed that a number of European sides are circling, but the Red Devils want to get ahead of the situation, and the Telegraph say a new long-term deal is close to being agreed.

The report claims Garnacho is close to signing a new deal to keep him in place until 2025.
