Manchester United are expected to be in for a busy summer transfer window, with incoming manager Erik ten Hag looking to put his stamp on a dressing room that has failed to reach its full potential in recent seasons.

As well as a whole host of potential new signings, several familiar faces could be on their way out of Old Trafford in the coming weeks and months.

But with so much speculation doing the rounds, it can be difficult to keep track of all of the latest rumours.

With that in mind, here is Friday’s United transfer news...

Henderson nears exit

Nottingham Forest have agreed a loan deal for Red Devils goalkeeper Dean Henderson, according to The Athletic.

The England international has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford for some time, and now looks to be on the verge of sealing his exit.

It is understood that Forest will be paying Henderson’s full salary over the course of a season-long agreement, with the 25-year-old drafted in to replace Brice Samba, who is expected to join Lens this summer.

Malacia remains a target

United remain interested in signing Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia this summer, according to an update from De Telegraaf.

The Red Devils are understood to be in the market for a new centre-back, and have seemingly identified the Dutchman as a potential option.

Competition for the 22-year-old’s signature could be steep, however, with Newcastle United also credited with an interest, and Ligue 1 outfit Lyon seemingly leading the race to snap him up.

Despite this, De Telegraaf’s report suggests that United regard Malacia as an “important reinforcement”.

The Ajax winger has emerged as one of the names near the top of Ten Hag’s shopping list, and has reportedly voiced his desire to seal a move away from Amsterdam this summer.

It is claimed that representatives from Stamford Bridge met with the player’s agents during a recent visit to the UK.

90min suggest that the West London club have been monitoring the Brazilian’s situation as part of their ongoing search for attacking reinforcements, with Manchester City star Raheem Sterling and Barcelona contract rebel Ousmane Dembele also targets.
