De Jong update
According to the Manchester Evening News, United will submit a new offer for Frenkie De Jong ‘imminently’.
They add the Red Devils had an opening bid of €60million £52m (€60m) turned down and Barcelona are holding out for a fee of £65m (€75m), plus add-ons.

Hide AdThe MEN claims United have been negotiating over a potential transfer for ‘the majority of June’ and are keen to achieve the fairest possible price as they hope to have funds left over in order to strengthen in other areas of the team.
Erik ten Hag has supposedly reached out to De Jong personally in an effort to tempt him into a summer move to Old Trafford.
United waiting on Eriksen
The Red Devils are also involved in a protracted pursuit of Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen.
The 30-year-old could be available for free this summer, but the Red Devils are believed to face competition from Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford.

Hide AdHowever, as per Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have dropped out of the race to secure Eriksen’s signature.
“Man United and Brentford are still waiting for final answer from Christian Eriksen,” the journalist tweeted. “Tottenham, focused on different players after one conversation with his agent - then no follow up or official bid.”
Bayern deal United blow
RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer would prefer a move to Bayern Munich this summer ahead of United, claims 90min.
They report the Austrian ‘was on the radar’ of the Red Devils, but has rejected a contract at Leipzig and is keen on joining the German champions.

Five first-team members could move on
Goal claims five of Ten Hag’s squad could be free to move on this summer, following the departures of Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani on free transfers.
Dean Henderson and Anthony Martial are also free to leave the club this summer for the right price, with defenders Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Phil Jones and Eric Bailly among the other potential departures.
