Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia is expected to leave Old Trafford for pastures new at the end of the January transfer window, according to reports.
Reports from Diario de Sevilla in Spain claim that the 25-year-old Netherlands international is surplus to requirements under new manager Ruben Amorim and has been offered an exit route to Spanish La Liga side that the Red Devils have already done business with earlier in the transfer window.

He has since been used sparingly in six matches across the season but was dragged off after 45 minutes in both of his Premier League starts under Amorim after struggling to meet the demands of the ex-Sporting bosses new 3-4-2-1 formation.

However, reports suggest the deal is far from a formality and claim that Betis are also considering a number of alternative players in that position from around Europe due to Malacia’s lack of first team action in recent months.

Ruben Amorim is expected to confirm his second signing of the January transfer window in the form of full-back Patrick Dorgu from Italian side Lecce.
The 20-year-old Danish international is the second full-back to sign this month after a deal was agreed for Paraguayan teenager Diego Leon to move to Old Trafford in the summer when he turns 18.

The youngster could be a part of the team that faces Crystal Palace on Sunday 2 February if the process is all completed in time.
