United have reportedly ‘held talks’ with PSV winger Cody Gakpo as they look to lure him over to England in the upcoming January transfer window, according to a report by Football Insider. He has recently been away at the World Cup with Holland. The 23-year-old scored three goals in five games in Qatar under Louis van Gaal.

Midfielder eyed

The Red Devils are ‘still keen’ on signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, as per 90min. Fellow Premier League sides Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are said to all have been in regular contact with the player’s representatives over recent times as well so there is strong competition for his signature. He rose up through the youth ranks at PSG and played 227 times for their first-team before moving to Italy in 2019.

Defender is back

United defender Diogo Dalot has apparently returned to the training ground after picking up a hamstring injury at the World Cup with Portugal. The Manchester Evening News report that he was back at Carrington on Friday morning. He has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Erik ten Hag’s side in this campaign so far.
