Defender Leon King, who has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford over recent times, has committed his future to current club Rangers. As announced by their official club website, he has penned a new ‘long-term’ contract. The 18-year-old has broke into the first-team at Ibrox this season and has made 19 appearances so far in all competitions.

Goalkeeper nearly signed

Watford goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann has revealed how close he came to signing for United over the summer. The stopper ended up staying at Vicarage Road following the Hornets’ relegation to the Championship. However, he was nearly thrown a Premier League lifeline by Erik ten Hag and has told Heute: “It was very, very, very, very close. Really very, very close (a move). In the end, I’m glad things turned out the way they are. The new coach really wanted to keep me. I’m happy, I’m a top performer at Watford now.”

Youngster wanted

United are reportedly in the ‘chase’ to sign Borussia Dortmund attacker Youssoufa Moukoko. That’s according to The Times, who claim rivals Liverpool and Chelsea are also keen. The 18-year-old is being tipped for a bright future in the game and has chipped in with six goals already in this campaign.
