The good vibes have returned to Manchester United after a disappointing start to the season.
Erik ten Hag’s men have quickly put their early season struggles behind them with a run of four straight games.
On Thursday night, they open their European account for the season, taking on La Liga side Real Sociedad, who have performed very well over the last year or so.
United are said to be pursuing a move for Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal.
The youngster has caught the eye in Barca’s youth ranks, and Sport claim the Catalan giants are doing everything they can to hold on to him.
But it’s also reported that United are keen on luring the young forward to Old Trafford, while Liverpool, Manhester City, Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are also interested.
Crucially for Barca, they cannot tie Yamal down to a professional contract until he is 16, and with the youngster still only 15, there could be an opportunity for the interested parties.
This could be one to keep an eye on.
Mata finds new club
Former United midfielder Juan Mata looks set to find a new club.
The 34-year-old has been out of contract since leaving Old Trafford in the summer at the end of his deal.
Mata spent eight years with the Red Devils, but he was allowed to leave after last season, now in the final years of his career.
It has taken Mata some time to find a new club, but according to AS, the midfielder has agreed a deal with Galatasaray ahead of the Turkish transfer window closing - not that it applies to free agent Mata.
Galatasaray are also expected to snap up Mauro Icardi on a loan deal from PSG.
