United ended Arsenal’s perfect start to the season over the weekend, and they will now turn their attention to the Europa League clash with a good-looking Real Sociedad side.

Erik ten Hag’s men will then face Crystal Palace away from home, but in the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Old Trafford:

Brobbey opens up

Brian Brobbey says he was asked to play at United by Ten Hag, but he rejected the approach.

He told ESPN NL: “Erik sent me a message, yes, to congratulate me, and to tell me that he would like to have me in Manchester.

“But I’m not finished at Ajax yet, I want to show something here first.”

Asked where he wants to play in the future, he laughed and said: “Manchester United.”

Musiala comments spark rumours

United are said to be on alert after comments from Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala.

“Playing [my] whole career at FC Bayern? Many factors come together,” he said (via Fabrizio Romano).

“I’m very happy at Bayern. You never know what will happen in six to seven years. Premier League? Really strong league, big stars go there. But… no idea, now I’m at Bayern. [It’s a] super top club.”

Musiala has a contract until 2026, and he is valued at well over £50million.

According to teamTALK, United and City could be interested in pulling off a move for the attacking midfielder.

Though, United do currently have Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes, so this could be one to file away for some time down the line.
