It has been the source of much debate within the fanbase but, with a number of Marc Skinner’s Manchester United side out of contract this summer, fans are wondering how the squad may look this time next year.
While key midfielder Ella Toone has already extended her stay until 2026, some of United’s star players will be free to negotiate with other clubs in little over six months, though the head coach has called for patience, insisting contract renewals take time and that the club are working hard to complete deals for a number of players.
Here is a complete list of every player who’s contract expires in the summer, including if they have an optional one year extension.
1. Mary Earps

2. Hannah Blundell

3. Millie Turner
Undoubtedly one of Skinner’s key defenders, Turner has enjoyed a really impressive first half the campaign and seems more than happy at the club, which does make fans wonder why no deal has been agreed yet. Surely she will stay? Photo: Manchester United via Getty Images
4. Martha Thomas
The Scotland international has been used regularly by Marc Skinner from the bench and has an option for a further year, though she may be in search for more regular game time come May.
