It has been the source of much debate within the fanbase but, with a number of Marc Skinner’s Manchester United side out of contract this summer, fans are wondering how the squad may look this time next year.
While key midfielder Ella Toone has already extended her stay until 2026, some of United’s star players will be free to negotiate with other clubs in little over six months, though the head coach has called for patience, insisting contract renewals take time and that the club are working hard to complete deals for a number of players.
Here is a complete list of every player who’s contract expires in the summer, including if they have an optional one year extension.
13. Emily Ramsey
Ramsey is currently impressing on loan at fellow WSL Everton. With Earps the undisputed number one, it is unlikely Ramsey will return in the summer and be happy to play back up - especially after a year of valuable first team football. There is the option of a year extension though, believed to be on the club’s side. | Manchester United via Getty Images Photo: Manchester United via Getty Images
