United were handed a reality check by neighbours Manchester City, and their resolve is now being put to the test again.

The pressure is on for United to step up their game, and ten Hag clearly has a big job to do, with the City clash not their first heavy defeat of the campaign.

As United turn their attention to Europe, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Old Trafford.

Memphis links

United are said to be keen on a reunion with Barcelona star Memphis Depay.

That’s according to Fichajes, who say the Dutchman is wanted by United, Newcastle and Arsenal.

Memphis has been with Barca since last year, scoring 13 times in 30 La Liga appearances.

The forward spent two years at United between 2015 and 2017, making 33 league appearances and largely struggling.

But he has since come into his own, and he is now being tipped to link up with fellow dutchman Ten Hag back at Old Trafford.

Interest in duo

United are said to be interested in two particular wingers ahead of January.

The Red Devils have already spent a huge amount to land winger Antony in recent months, but according to the Express, they are keen on landing one of Goncalo Ramos or Cody Gakpo.

Gakpo has been linked for some time, and he could be sold by PSV amid financial difficulties, according to reports, while Ramos is currently impresing at Benfica, and he could be the more costly option.

Ramps still has four years remaining on his contract as things stand.
