Manchester United have announced that Tara Bourne, Jade Moore, Estelle Cascarino and Aissatou Tounkara will all depart the club.

The departures mean that Marc Skinner’s side have already seen a total of six players leave the club since the end of the 2022/2023 season as the quartet join Alessia Russo and Ona Batlle in departing Manchester.

A small statement on the official Manchester United Women Twitter account wished the players the “best of luck for the future” and thanked them for their service to the club.

The departure of Cascarino brings an end to a disappointing time for the player who made just two appearances for Skinner's side after joining on loan in January from Paris Saint-Germain.

The same can also be said of Tounkara, who joined with a big reputation last summer but was only appeared once in the Women’s Super League. She is expected to link back up with Cascarino in France, with Paris Saint-Germain interested in securing the services of the French international.

Former England international Moore could depart to Reading permanently after joining the club on loan in January, however, their relegation and subsequent move to a part time model could scupper that move. Elsewhere, 19-year-old defender Bourne could link back up with promotion chashing Birmingham City, where she spent last season on loan.

The Red Devils were linked with Brighton’s Katie Robinson and Barcelona forward Geyse earlier in the week but Reading’s Gemma Evans is expected to be the side’s first summer signing with the Welsh international thought to have agreed a move upon the expiry of her Royals’ contract.
