'I'm told' - Man United eyeing £62.5m Arsenal and Liverpool 'target' who is 'definitely' moving this summer
Manchester United are in the market for a number of reinforcements this summer with strengthening in forward positions a priority for Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils have failed to score in their last two Premier League outings, as they lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest and drew 0-0 with Manchester City in their most recent outings. Fabrizio Romano has said the Red Devils will consider the addition of two attacking players in the summer transfer window. They are eyeing a striker while another player who can play in behind a frontman is also being considered.

United’s only hope of qualifying for Europe is by winning the Europa League - which would give them a spot in next season’s Champions League. It gives the possibility of six English sides being in Europe’s elite competition next season, with the Premier League’s top-five teams set to qualify for the competition.
Man United ‘interested’ in Wolves star Matheus Cunha
As United look towards the summer, the club’s former chief scout Mick Brown has claimed Wolves forward Matheus Cunha is of interest to the club. However, speaking with Football Insider, Brown conceded it would be tough for the Red Devils to get a deal done due to interest from their Premier League rivals.
He said: “He’s definitely going to move in the summer. He’s going to be in high demand, there’s no doubt about that. Arsenal have been looking, Nottingham Forest are there, you’ve then got Chelsea and Liverpool – and I’m told Man United are interested too.
“Whether they could do a deal, it’s hard to say, but it might be difficult if they have to go up against the likes of those teams I’ve just mentioned. He will want Liverpool ahead of Man United at the moment.”

Cunha previously said about his future: “I’ve made it clear that I need to take the next step. I want to fight for titles, for big things.”
He recently penned a new contract with Wolves but the deal does contain a release clause of £62.5m. That has alerted a number of Premier League clubs to a potential summer move. United have struggled for goals this campaign while Cunha has netted 13 times in 26 Premier League appearances - he also has four assists. The Brazilian also has the ability to play in a number of positions across the attack. He can play attacking midfield, as a second striker and at centre forward.
Questions do remain over the player’s temperament, as he has been banned on two different occasions this term. He was red carded for a clash with Milos Kerkez against Bournemouth in the FA Cup and handed a three-game ban with that suspension increased by an extra fixture after he admitted a charge of acting in an improper manner. He was hit with a two-game suspension in January after grabbing the glasses off the face of a member of Ipswich security staff.
However, with United’s lack of goals a serious problem - they need to get a player in who can regularly find the back of the net. Cunha has proven his ability to do that in the Premier League but whether the Red Devils can afford the £62.5m hit remains to be seen.
