According to The Mirror, Onana may survive the summer cull as Amorim and co are reportedly prioritising other areas to improve within the squad. The manager has instructed the recruitment team to focus on outfield targets, including a striker, two midfielders and at least two defenders.
With five desired signings already requested, Amorim will likely head into the new season with Onana in between the sticks. However, that could change if a club puts the right offer on the table.
