'It is clear' - Ruben Amorim issues Manchester United summer transfer update - worrying admission made
Man Utd plan to overhaul their squad in the summer transfer window and Ruben Amorim has issued an update.
Ruben Amorim admits he does not have any 'guarantees' about how much backing Manchester United will receive in the summer transfer window. The Portuguese head coach added two players to his squad during the winter window but hopes to add more to his side at the end of the season.

United will prioritise the addition of a striker this summer, while they are also keen to add a right winger, at least one central midfielder and a centre-back. They could also sign a goalkeeper, though there are more pressing issues in the squad that need to be addressed first.
Amorim is well aware player sales will be crucial again at the end of the season as United look to raise precious transfer revenue and balance the books, and he knows it might take a few windows before he can shape the playing squad into his ideal vision.

United have posted five consecutive years of losses since 2019. and they have confirmed a further 200 members of staff could be made redundant in the latest round of cost-cutting measures.
