Man Utd predicted XI v Crystal Palace with Erik ten Hag set to make changes from Carabao Cup win - gallery

Manchester United face Crystal Palace for the second time in a week when they return to Premier League action on Saturday.

Manchester United welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford again on Saturday - and Erik ten Hag has some big selection decisions to make.

After a torrid start to the season United go into the game looking to back up wins over Burnley, in the Premier League and Palace, in the Carabao Cup.

There was a welcome return for Mason Mount in midweek and Sofyan Amrabat made his debut at left back, showing where the Red Devils are defensively at the moment. It is at the back that ten Hag has the most decisions to make ahead of the weekend. At centre back Raphael Varane was back in the starting line-up against Palace but there's a real debate to be had about who will partner him. Sergio Reguilon has also been battling illness so could return, potentially allowing Amrabat to move into his preferred midfield position.

Other regular starters - notably Marcus Rashford and skipper Bruno Fernandes - were also rested for the Carabao Cup victory and are expected to start again.

With all that in mind, and United setting up in a 4-3-3 system, here's how we think they'll line up on Saturday, with ten Hag making five alterations to his starting line-up from the first meeting with Palace.
