The Dutchman spent the second half of the last campaign on loan at Everton and featured just seven times for the Blues.
However, despite his lack of first-team football in the past couple of years, the midfielder is believed to be part of Ten Hag’s squad next season, as per Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist tweeted: “Erik ten Hag has Donny van de Beek in his plans for next season, as things stand. [I’ve] been told he’s now expected to play a role in [the] Manchester United team.”
