Manchester United have offered Aaron Wan-Bissaka to “at least one club” as they look to offload the full back ahead of the summer transfer window opening, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The 24-year old was signed from Crystal Palace in 2019 for a fee of £45 million, with another £5 million due in potential bonuses, but does not appear to be part of new head coach Erik ten Hag’s plans.

The former England Under 21 international was a regular in the Old Trafford first team under previous manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during his first two seasons at the club but saw his opportunities limited during their last campaign after the Norwegian departed.

Here is everything you need to know about the latest reports surrounding the defenders future at United:

Man U offer Wan-Bissaka to “at least one club”

As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United “have offered Aaron Wan-Bissaka to at least one club ahead of the summer transfer window’s opening date next week.”

The publication claims that United received an enquiry from an unnamed Spanish side regarding fellow right back Diogo Dalot but Old Trafford chiefs informed them that they were “unprepared to negotiate for Dalot but would for Wan-Bissaka.”

It is also reported that Wan-Bissaka has already been informed he is not part of Erik ten Hag’s plans with Dalot seen as the current first choice right back.

Since moving to Manchester in 2019, Wan-Bissaka has made a total of 126 appearances for United and scored two goals.

He played 35 times in his first season and 34 in his second but last season he very much fell out of favour once Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was relieved of his duties in November.

The 24-year old was not favoured by interim head coach Ralf Rangnick and only managed 26 first team appearances last season with 19 of those coming before January 2022.

Meanwhile, former Porto star Dalot actually arrived at the club before Wan-Bissaka, signing in June 2018 while José Mourinho was in charge.

His United career has been stop-start so far, making 23 appearances during his first season before managing just 11 in his second.

He spent the 2020/21 campaign on-loan at Italian Serie A side AC Milan before returning to England and managing 30 games last season.

Who will Manchester United sign next?

Today’s headlines have speculated that Man U could make a move for Tottenham Hotspur attacker Steven Bergwijn, if Erik ten Hag were keen on reuniting with his former Ajax star.

According to ESPN, Spurs want just €25m (around £21.5m) for the Dutchman.

It is believed the wingers preference is to return to Ajax but that could change if United decide to express an interest.

Meanwhile, the Express are reporting that Newcastle United have ‘pulled out’ of the race for Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma, giving United and Liverpool a ‘clear run’ at signing the former Bournemouth man.

The 25-year old is said to be of interest to both clubs following an impressive season in Spain with the Champions League semi finalists.
