Rashford, 24, has been enjoying himself under his new boss and is starting to recapture his form.

‘Quality’...

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville has heaped praise on the England ace:

“Marcus Rashford looks a completely different player. I think (Tyrell) Malacia, (Lisandro) Martinez and (Christian) Eriksen have changed this team. Their attitude and their quality, the fact they are not blighted by what happened last season.

“Rashford is benefitting from the fact he is back playing in his best position. I think he actually went to see Erik ten Hag and said basically ‘I want to be in that position where I am at my best’.

Rashford only found the net five times for United last term and his future was up in the air over the summer.

However, he stayed at Old Trafford beyond the deadline and has since knuckled down and has been given a new lease of life.

He rose up through the youth ranks of the North West giants and first burst into the first-team back in the 2015/16 campaign.

Neville believes he has upped his game since last term and is performing well alongside the club’s various summer recruits including Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez.
