Manchester United continue to be linked with new signings as the end of the window draws near.

The Red Devils came into this summer needing to fill several gaps amid key departures on the back of last season.

The likes of Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata and Paul Pogba left at the end of their contracts, and it gave Erik ten Hag the chance to put his own stamp on his new squad.

But incomings have been few and far between, leading to much frustration, especially after a disappointing start to the campaign.

There has been some change in the mood around Old Trafford over the last week.

United’s win over Liverpool changed the outlook on the start to the season - even if only somewhat - and the Red Devils have made a statement by spending an initial £60million to sign five-time Champions League winner Casemiro.

The Brazilian will add a great deal of experience to the midfield, and he will go some way to replacing some of the departed central players.

But there is no doubting that, with around a week remaining in the transfer window, there is still more business required from United.

Ten Hag and the club’s chiefs will be pushing to get deals over the line in time to make sure they don’t have to go without until January.

In the meantime, we have taken a look at Sky Bet’s transfer specials to find out which players the bookmakers think United are most likely to sign.
