The agent of Manchester United transfer target Kerolin has dropped a major hint that the Brazil star may be closing in on a transfer to the WSL giants.

As previously revealed by ManchesterWorld, Marc Skinner's side had become increasingly confident in recent weeks that they could agree a fee with North Carolina Courage for the services of the international midfielder, who has been a long term target - and a recent social media post could indicate a deal is edging closer.

The player's agent, Luis Filipe Silva, had already seen one of his clients move to the Red Devils in recent weeks after the club confirmed the purchase of Barcelona forward Geyse last week for a record fee and the agent had posted a similar cryptic posts in the run up to that particular move and United fans will be hoping history repeats itself.

Silva took to his Instagram page to share a series of 'stories' of him seemingly on a plane with the words "another day in the office" and a prayer emoji before confirming he was heading to America, where Kerolin currently plys her trade.

North Carolina Courage head coach Sean Nahas touched addressed the rumours of Kerolin's move in his pre-match press conference last week, saying: “I will never comment on player decisions and things like that. That is a club thing. We are well aware of the rumours.

"I can tell you, be careful what you listen to. But at the end of the day, our expectation is that she is going to be here...Whoever is pushing these rumors, it is not us. I can tell you that.

"We’re hopeful that Kero (Kerolin) will be back, but other than that I won’t speak on any stories that anyone other than the Courage are going to talk about because they are not in our camp and those stories are just that, stories, until they become a reality" added the American head coach.

ManchesterWorld understands that while an agreement on the fee appears to be edging closer, nothing has yet been accepted by North Carolina Courage.
