Pep Guardiola will be able to name a full-strength side to take on Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany and his Burnley side in the FA Cup this weekend. The manager admitted that he hadn't spoken to his players since their Champions League win and is yet to decide his starting XI during his press conference on Friday morning.
Recent knocks and illnesses had kept Phil Foden, John Stones and Aymeric Laporte out of the side but all three have been in action since Guardiola confirmed their recoveries. Foden and Stones both came through appearances against Crystal Palace and RB Leipzig unscathed while Laporte has been named on the bench in both of those fixtures.

Five-goal hero Erling Haaland was taken off early during the midweek Champions League action, but the move looked just to save the talisman from any potential fatigue. Ilkay Gundogan, Jack Grealish, Rodri and Stones were all also brought off the field against Leipzig but none looked to be as a result of injury concerns.
Playing their third game in seven days, Guardiola will no doubt field a freshened-up starting XI against the Championship high flyers. Stefan Ortega looks set to feature between the sticks once again and Kalvin Phillips may seem game time after his place in the England squad was confirmed by Gareth Southgate this week.

Laporte may get his first run out since February 18 and Rico Lewis will be vying for a place in the defence. Guardiola knows Kompany's in-form side will present a challenge on Saturday. The City boss said: "Everybody knows he is an important, incredible figure here," he said.
"He is one of the biggest legends I have had. Personally, it was a pity he was a lot of time injured when we were together. The important thing was how he helped me from day one in another country in the locker room. In the bad moments, he made a step forward to help the team. He said to me the things he believe was best for the club. He was an exceptional captain and a top human being."

Vincent Kompany has a number of injury constraints when he travels back to the Etihad Stadium.

Winger Darko Churlinov is likely to miss out through illness and will be without injured midfielder Josh Brownhill until after the international break. Manuel Benson and Jay Rodriguez are fighting for fitness after a foot injury and knock respectively and look likely to miss out.

Man City loanee Taylor Harwood-Bellis, who came back from injury in an under-21 match this week, is ineligible to face his parent club. Former Man City keeper Arijanet Muric will likely lose his place to cup first-choice Bailey Peacock-Farrell for the Clarets.
