‘He’d just want me to be happy’: Kelsey Parker meets with fellow widows in latest episode of ITVBe’s Life After Tom

Kelsey Parker has claimed her late husband Tom would want her to continue being “happy” following his untimely death.

Hide AdThe Wanted star, from Bolton, sadly died earlier this year on 30 March at age 33, having had a year-and-a-half long battle with stage four glioblastoma brain cancer.
He left behind two young children; two-year-old Bodhi and three-year-old Aurelia, as well as his wife Kelsey, 32, who he married in 2018, after meeting ten years earlier.
It was recently revealed that Kelsey began dating father-of-two Sean Broggans, 39, whom she met whilst on a girls trip to Rhodes in September.

Hide AdShe has been sharing her grieving process in the months since Tom’s death in six-part documentary, Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom, which airs on ITVBe at 9pm on Thursday’s.
In the third episode, which aired last night, the widow attended the wedding of her and Tom’s best friends Kelsey-Ann and Dean. She told her 371,000 Instagram followers that it was “tough one to film”.
She also joined a widows’ group at a local pub, to talk about her loss with fellow widow’s, who are all older women.

Hide AdWhen one asks the 32-year-old about moving on, she responds: “We didn’t really have them conversations, but knowing Tom I feel like he would be happy for me. He’d just want me to be happy. I’m so young.”
Another one of the group’s attendees added: “He would want you to live a full life.” Whilst one women opened up about her husband, who she lost in 2003.
Kelsey said: “I can’t keep looking back being like what if this, what if that or I’ll spend my whole life blaming myself for things I didn’t do.”

Hide AdThe first episode of Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom aired on Thursday 1 December. It saw the mother-of-two prepare for what would have been her husband’s 34th birthday. She decided to put on a charity event to raise money for brain cancer research.
In the following epsiode, a week later, Kelsey headed to Cornwall on her first family holiday without Tom and met with Kate Ferdinand to share experiences and get advice on child bereavement.
