Getting to Manchester Airport via national rail services is made easy by the existence of the Manchester Airport station. A direct service on the Transpennine Express connects the airport to Manchester Victoria, Liverpool, Leeds and other towns and cities heading north up to Newcastle. The services run every 10 minutes, seven days a week.
Metrolink

Alternatively, there are frequent connections to the rest of the network, with trams heading towards Altrincham, Bury, Ashton-under-Lyne, East Didsbury, Eccles and Rochdale. Once you are at the airport, the terminals are around a 5-15 minute walk away.
Car
Manchester Airport is nine miles south of Manchester city centre and is located near to the M56. The airport also has good connections to the M6, M60 and M62.
There is currently renovation work taking place on the M56 so it is advised that you give yourself more time for the journey.
Bus
