Here are the election results in full for Tameside Council.

Labour held onto control of Tameside Council following a busy overnight count in Ashton.

The party gained three seats in the all-out May 2023 elections, on a night which saw the council’s only Green Party member lose their seat. Labour now hold 44 seats, with the Labour and Co-operative Party on seven. The Conservatives now have just six of the 57 seats on the council, with no representation from any other parties aside from Labour.
