Helen Flanagan has teased a return to Coronation Street as she briefly spoke about her latest TV project. The actress, 32, from Manchester, who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, admitted she would be keen for a return to the cobbles.

The 32-year-old appeared on ITV’s Lorraine this week (May 11) to discuss her stint on the all-star edition of the popular I’m A Celebrity reality show after being dumped from the jungle with EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney on Wednesday. She also dropped hints about her acting career.

Lorraine said: "Look, you know how much I loved Rosie Webster, the character in Coronation Street. I would love to see her come back. I really would. Now and again, she gets a wee mention, and I know that is very much, it’s very much of the time...But Rosie was just brilliant. The dynamics, she was just brilliant. And the door is open. So you never know!"

Helen said: "I really do. I really want to go back at some point. I really do. I miss Sally [Dynevor]. I miss Sally so much." Lorraine told Helen: "She was like your second mum." Helen replied: "Yeah. She still is, but yeah, I really miss her, and I would love Rosie to come back as a mum. I think Rosie would just leave Sally with the kids all the time." Lorraine laughed: "She would." Helen said: "Yeah, she would, wouldn’t she?"

The actress wowed fans with her outfit at the Pride of Manchester Awards earlier this week as she put on a dazzling display. The star opted for a slicked-back hairstyle and donned a sparkling gold mini dress with matching gold heels and a clutch bag as she stepped out at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel.

It comes after she gave an emotional update to fans following her split from footballer Scott Sinclair. Helen called it quits on her relationship with the Bristol Rovers footballer in October 2022 after 13 years together, claiming that a bad omen led to the decision. They share three children, Matilda, seven, Delilah, four and Charlie, two.
