

Dancing on Ice viewers were brought to tears on Sunday night following an emotional performance by Siva Kaneswaran.
The Wanted singer, 34, paid tribute to his late bandmate Tom Parker in a poignant display on the ice ahead of the year anniversary of his death.

Bolton-born singer, Tom, passed away on 30 March 2022 after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in October 2020.
In Sunday night’s episode, the final five celebrities chose a song that meant something important to them.

Siva and skating partner Klabera Komini skated to Tom Parker’s version of Gold Forever, which was re-released following his death.
Speaking about the song choice before his performance, Siva explained it would be “really hard to hear his [Tom’s] voice.”
The display left viewers and audience members emotional as Tom’s widow Kelsey Parker was seen wiping away tears.

People took to social media to share their thoughts and heaped praise on Siva for the tribute to his bandmate.
One person said: “Tom would have been so proud, Siva. Your tribute to him and the friendship you shared was incredible.”
Another said: “Just watched Siva’s performance, and I can’t stop crying, tom would be so proud.”

Someone else wrote: “Siva did amazing and lovely tonight for Tom Parker with Gold forever. I’m so proud of him. He made tom very proud doing this so well done Siva to have been in the semi-final. It’s sad you’re not in the final next Sunday, but you have done amazing.”
A fourth penned: “Not me crying at the personal skates. They were the best skates we’ve seen in years. Siva did Tom Parker so proud tonight had me balling. What a beautiful song for a beautiful soul.”
Kelsey, the mother of Tom’s two children, took to Instagram to share a picture alongside Siva and praised him for making everyone proud.

She captioned the post: “Such a special night @sivaofficial did us so proud.
“Thank you so much to the whole @itv @dancingonice team for creating this tribute for Tom. It was so special for me & the kids to be there, and I know Tom was with us too. Siva you’re amazing, and we love you always.”
The Wanted star scored 36 points out of 40 for his skate, with all judges awarding him nine points.

Sadly, the singer was sent home in a double elimination along with Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher.
Speaking after his performance on the show, Siva said: “It’s been great... I’ve done everything I’ve aimed to do... I’ve celebrated my family, Tom.”
