Covid case rates have been recently falling across Greater Manchester - but people are still being advised to get jabs and boosters and there are plenty of walk-in clinics still available.

How do I book a booster appointment?

People aged 16 and older can book on the NHS website here. You can also call 119 instead.

For people in Manchester who need help booking an appointment or advice on walk-in clinics, you can call a hotline set up by the local authorities for extra support on 0161 608 4304. The line is open Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm and is staffed by trained Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service helpers.

How do I find a drop-in clinic instead?

If you’d prefer to visit a drop-in, pop up clinic this week, you can attend any of the sites below. A three-month gap is needed between the second dose and your booster.

Manchester City Council confirmed the walk-ins are now available to all adults over 18. They have also added deisgnated slots for 12-15 year olds: see below.

These walk-in clinics are currently available to the following categories of people:

  • all people aged 16 and over
  • people who live and work in care homes
  • frontline health and social care workers
  • people aged 16 and over with a health condition that puts them at high risk of getting seriously ill from Covid-19
  • people aged 16 and over who are a main carer for someone at high risk from Covid-19
  • people aged 16 and over who live with someone who is more likely to get infections (such as someone who has HIV, has had a transplant or is having certain treatments for cancer, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis)
