Covid Lateral Flow tests: where to get lateral flow tests in Manchester today

After the government website ran out of kits for home deliver on Monday, we rang round pharmacies in Manchester to find out where lateral flow tests are still available to the public.

With new Covid-19 restrictions in place, and concerns over the Omicron variant, the Government’s home delivery service has seen a surge in demand for kits being posted out.

The kits can be used for people without Covid symptoms to check if they have the virus.

ManchesterWorld spoke with a number of local pharmacists, with many confirming that they are completely out of stock of tests.

However, there were a handful of places that did have some available for people to collect in Manchester.

Most of the pharmacies now require a code for lateral flow tests collection. The best way to get one of these is by calling 119 or by going on the government website.

These are some of the chemists in Manchester where you can still get lateral flow tests. All information is correct at time of publishing on Monday 13 December.
