One of Greater Manchester’s favourite pasta restaurants is reopening after another big rebrand.

Rigatoni’s is the newest iteration of Sud pasta, formerly known as Sugo. It has four locations in total, in Ancoats, Altrincham, Sale and within the multi-kitchen, city centre restaurant Exhibition.

As the name suggests, the new restaurant will specialise in rigatoni pasta, which is made in house using a bronze die, a traditional method that gives the pasta a ridged texture, allowing the sauces to stick better, in an ‘asciutta’ style. The restaurant will focus on delivering ‘hearty’ bowls of pasta, starting at £7.50.

Alex de Martiis, co-founder said "Rigatoni’s marks a new beginning for our restaurants. Our aim is to serve our communities for years to come with a quality, accessible and uncomplicated menu. So far we have seen an incredible reception for Rigatoni’s, and we are looking forward to welcoming old and new customers into our restaurants over the coming weeks”.

The Anocats, Sale and Altrincham restaurants are closed on Mondays, open 12-9:30pm Tuesday-Sunday. The Exhibition location is open Wednesday-Sunday, 12-9pm.
