What’s on at Winter Island 2022 and when

Winter Island is set to open on Saturday 12 November - just two days after Manchester’s official Christmas Markets open in the city centre too.

Winter Island will also boast its own Christmas markets with food including bratwurst and hot chocolate among the tasty offerings.

There’s also a hog roast for meat lovers and plenty of festive cocktails.

Families can enjoy a stroll through a Christmas tree forest along with other family activities, and there will be Christmas carols aplenty if you need some traditional festive music to get you in the true spirit.

Kids can also meet Santa in his grotto or try their hand at making some Christmas crafts.

Other fun things to do include an outdoor cinema screening some festive classics, a flea market, and late night live music.

It runs from 12 November to 24 December.

You can book now at the Freight Island website here.
