What street party events are planned in Manchester?

Whilst many streets are closed off for various points over the weekend for local street parties, a selection of larger events are planned across Manchester throughout the weekend.

Below is a selection of events taking place around Manchester for the Jubilee weekend, including some slightly more unique street party events.

Jubilee Street Party

The Refuge, Oxford Road, Manchester, M60 7HA

A host of Manchester’s DJs and bands will descend onto the Refuge Terrace on Friday 3 June, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in royal style.

English Jazz Orchestra

On Sunday 5 June, the English Jazz Orchestra are performing at Whittles Live Music venue in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

Jubilee Garden Party Bury

Tickets for this event are £2 for adults and £1 for children, a host of food, drink and activities are available at this garden party.

The day begins at 12pm and runs until 7pm.

Bolton Indoor Street Party

Walker Suite, The Victoria Hall, Bolton, Bolton, BL1 2AS

On 2 June from 3pm and 6pm, you can attend the Royal Albert Halls in Bolton for a special indoor street party event.

Tickets are available through the box office and admission includes food and a range of activities.

Moxy Jubilee Pooch Party

Moxy Manchester City, 8 Atkinson Street, Manchester, M3 3HH

For a Jubilee event in which you can celebrate with your four legged friend, make your way to Moxy in Manchester.

Food and drink is available as well as a fancy dress costume competition for the best dressed dog.

The organisers of the event said: “The event will feature a DJ, doggie ice cream, interactive games to play with your dog from ball pit to tunnels and a photo booth, with endless British-themed props for you and your companion.

“There will also be sweet treats from The Dog Shop, and decorations including an exclusive collaboration with Floral Collective MCR, offering beautiful flower crowns and collars.”
