There is also a Santa’s grotto - in a lit-up teepee tent - where kids can meet Father Christmas, and a street food area featuring Bavarian-style huts.

Zoe Inman, centre director, said: “Tinsel Town truly is the north’s own winter wonderland; an experience you do not want to miss this Christmas! Combine your visit with some late-night shopping, festive events at stores such as Selfridges and John Lewis, festive music on the malls and of course, our spectacular Christmas lights.”
