Big screens are showing the Queen’s funeral today in Exchange Square and Cathedral Gardens in Manchester.

However, if you don’t wish to watch the coverage, here are a few other things you can get up to today.

Go for a walk

The Trafford Centre won’t open til later this afternoon to allow retail staff time to watch the Queen’s funeral if they wish to and out fo respect for Her Majesty - but some stores will open later on: see our guide to the timings here.
