Things to do in Manchester today if you’re not watching the Queen’s funeral: from walks to Trafford Centre

Big screens are showing the Queen’s funeral today in Exchange Square and Cathedral Gardens in Manchester.

However, if you don’t wish to watch the coverage, here are a few other things you can get up to today.

Go for a walk

The weather forecast looks to be dry and cloudy today in Greater Manchester - while a little cooler that last week, conditions still look good for a walk. From Fletcher Moss Park in Didsbury to the Oldham Way walk, we have some ideas of easy to follow trails here.

Get gardening
