Despite being in its 43rd year, Nickelodeon is still considered the number one entertainment brand for kids. The US-based company has managed to build up a diverse global presence, with its television programming, consumer products, digital content and feature films.

Nickelodeon is now collaborating with the Luna Group, in order to bring a new outdoor experience to the UK - and Manchester is one of the three places it is visiting.

The entertainment brand has teamed up with The Luna Cinema, which is also responsible for the popular FriendsFest event celebrating the TV show “Friends.”

FriendsFest initially started as a five-day pop up event in London, where fans could explore Monica and Rachel’s apartment and take selfies at Central Perk. The experience proved very popular with fans and soon embarked on a UK tour.

What is the Nickelodeon Experience?

The Nickelodeon outdoor experience kicked off its UK tour in Edinburgh, where it brought to life the very best of Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. for an unforgettable family day out.

For the first time, kids are able to take part in activities based on some of their favourite TV shows. This includes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Henry Danger and Paw Patrol - to name a few.

The action-packed activities allow for explorers big and small to take their pick from the exciting line-up of entertainment.

Young fun-seekers can discover their unique superpowers in The Thundermans’ School for Superheroes or step into an episode of Henry Danger and navigate his maze full of secret twists, turns, puzzles and passages.

Why not put your teamwork to the test, and race against the clock to solve the Hunter Street Escape Room mystery, where you can attempt to crack the code, and find the key.

Nick fans will definitely be captivated by the immersive experience, with a trip to adventure bay to meet Paw Patrol favourites Chase and Marshall, or an adventure in the subterranean lair of the Ninja Turtles.

Explorers can also jump aboard a pirate ship and hunt for treasure in an immersive play-zone, based on the swashbuckling world of Santiago of The Seas.

After all that fun and excitement, you can cool off and chill out on SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom Beach, where you can also grab something to eat and relax.

Then, in true Nickelodeon tradition you can finish your memorable day by heading to a Slime Time Party - to get Slimed!
