Take That tease Manchester Co-op Live gig as logo projected onto side of new Etihad Campus venue

Iconic group Take That could be about to announce a gig at Manchester’s new Co-op Live. This comes as the band’s logo was projected onto the side of the arena, in a post shared by the venue’s official Twitter account. 

The stunt was carried out on other venues across the country, including the Swansea.com stadium in South Wales and Stadium MK in Milton Keynes. The projections have got fans eager for an announcement they believe will be a UK tour. 

Any potential gig wouldn’t be until mid to late 2024, as the Co-op Live venue is only set to open in the spring. This could potentially mean Take That brings to an end what would be a five year wait to play back in Manchester. 

Take That, who were of course formed in Manchester back in 1990. Took the music world by storm through the 1990s and 2000s. Although past members Jason Orange and Robbie Willliams are no longer in the band, the other three members Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen would all take to the stage in Manchester. 

Co-op Live has already announced several acts set to perform in 2024 and 2025. These include The Jonas Brothers and Niall Horan.
