Peter Kay have announced extra tour dates at AO Arena in Manchester as part of his massive tour stretching into 2024. The record breaking comedian started off his tour in Manchester last week and was brought to tears after his warm welcome back on stage.

After receiving minutes of claps and name chanting from thousands of fans, Kay said: "Oh Jesus look at me, I mean what’s that all about... how am I supposed to do bloody comedy now?" he asked the crowd. “I can’t believe I cried, where did it come from, all that emotion?"

Extra shows will be performed in cities including Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London and many more. Tickets for the new shows will go live at 10am on Sunday (December 11) via Ticketmaster.
