Peter Gabriel has announced his first tour in nearly a decade, and it includes a stop in Manchester. In 2023, the legendary singer will play 22 gigs in the UK and Europe in support of his upcoming album i/o.

i/o - The Tour is his first outside North America since 2014’s Back to Front tour, and will see the singer perform new music as well as well known classics from his legendary catalogue. Peter Gabriel said of the tour: “It’s been a while and I am now surrounded by a whole lot of new songs and am excited to be taking them out on the road for a spin. Look forward to seeing you out there.”

The English singer started his career in the 1960’s as the enigmatic lead singer of progressive rock band Genesis alongside Mike Rutherford, Tony Banks and Phil Collins (from 1970) before embarking on a highly successful solo career. His fourth, and most successful album So from 1986 included the mega hit Sledgehammer.

Tickets go on sale starting Friday 11 November 2022 at 10:00 am via Ticketmaster. Peter’s Fan Club mailing list members have access to a special presale, starting Tuesday, 8 November.
