Paul McCartney Manchester tickets: Co-op Live pre-sale sees some land on resale sites - with one for £11k

Paul McCartney is playing two dates at Manchester’s Co-op Live with the scramble for tickets beginning on Wednesday morning.

The Liverpudlian music legend is playing at Co-op Live on December 14 and 15. These will be his first shows in Manchester for over a decade. 

The pre-sale window for tickets through Co-op Live opened at 10am for both shows. Many tickets appeared on the resale website Viagogo within minutes of the pre-sale window opening. Several were listed for more than £2,000, with one listed for £11,000.

With thousands of tickets up for grabs in the pre-sale window, Co-op Live issued a warning ahead of the opening. They warned fans to only use recognised ticket providers with social media platform X full of scam accounts offering tickets.

In a statement on social media, they said: “Ahead of Paul McCartney going on sale, we remind all fans to be vigilant in only using officially recognised ticket providers. We have been made aware of possible fraudulent tickets available on secondary platforms.”

Fans on social media suggested that the cheapest tickets available at Co-op Live were available for around £140. This was through Ticketmaster.

How to get tickets for Paul McCartney at Co-op Live in Manchester

Tickets for the Manchester dates went on sale through the Co-op Member pre-sale from 10am on Wednesday, June 19 and on general sale from 10am on Friday, June 21 from outlets including Ticketmaster.
